Series 1 of record group 92-211 contains research and general files of Ralph Blouch for the years 1957, 1964-1973. Contains correspondence, reports and studies. Ralph Blouch was in charge of research for the Wildlife Division during the 1960's and 1970's. His files offer a personal perspective into the Division's work and document early efforts at understanding the effects of industrial pollution on wildlife (e.g., mercury poisoning in pheasants and lead poisoing in ducks). Each folder of general correspondence has an index relating to the letters found in that folder.
